The Cottages
When you arrive at Ardmaddy Estate, the first things that strike you are the beauty, serenity and peace. At the end of a quiet road lies an opportunity to relax in stunning surroundings and leave the everyday world behind. Your days can be spent walking, cycling, sailing, exploring, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, or simply just resting – Ardmaddy is simply perfect for all of these.
Our cottages all have secluded locations with enclosed gardens and all have fantastic views either over nearby islands and out to sea or over surrounding countryside. Furnished and equipped for your comfort and convenience they are intended to be a home from home – indeed many people come back year after year to “their” cottage.
All the cottages have Wifi, a land-line telephone, TV, DVD player, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchens are well equipped and include cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, food processor, and all the miscellaneous items you may need during your stay.
Outside you will find some garden furniture, a barbeque, a drying line and a shed in which to keep any outdoor equipment such as bikes. There is also plenty of car parking space at all the cottages.
All electricity and oil are included in your rental as are towels and linen. We can also supply cots and high chairs if you have little ones.
In the growing season, there is a selection of fresh vegetables available to buy from the castle gardens. A welcome box of seasonal vegetables can be arranged if you wish.
Caddleton and The Stables have their own games rooms and there is, a hard tennis court for you to play on, sailing, rowing and motor boats to hire, fly fishing, and more than 3,000 acres to explore.
Dogs are welcome in all the cottages (maximum of three) but we do request that these are kept under control as we have livestock and game birds on the estate.
All the cottages have a private water supply.
